Oksana Dubyk from Mariupol, who was forced to flee to Lviv due to Russian aggression, opened a flower shop here together with her resettled friends
He says that Lviv met them kindly. Sometimes buyers, having learned that the owners are from Mariupol, pay more for flowers – to support and help.
The woman and her father spent 3 weeks in occupied Mariupol. They hid from the Russian bombings in a neighbor’s storeroom. And in March they left for Lviv.
Oksana’s husband is a volunteer of the Azov regiment since 2014, on the front lines since the first day of the full-scale invasion of Russia. He is now in captivity. The woman believes that he will return home soon. She says that she started her business here for the sake of her husband. “I want him to be proud of me when he returns,” says Oksana.
