Lvovvodokanal repair crews have started replacing the water supply system at 44 Skorynya Street. Therefore, tomorrow, 28 May, from 09:00 to 18:00, water supply will be suspended to Demnyanska and Skorynya streets, 34, 36, 38, 41, 42, 44, 44a, due to repair works.
A water truck will be operating at 44 Skorynya Street during the water cut-off.
“On Skoryna Street, 100 metres of 315 mm diameter water pipeline will be replaced. The work has already begun. Tomorrow we will carry out works that are impossible without suspending water supply. However, a water truck will be operating at 44 Skorynya Street for the duration of the water cut-off,” Lvivvodokanal explained.
Upon completion of the repair works, the street water supply network will be flushed. During the flushing of the water supply system, there may be a temporary deterioration in water quality: discolouration of water with iron oxide (rust) that is washed off the inner walls of the pipelines.
