The Young Dovzhenko Youth Center, together with the IT Department and the Lviv Youth Department, is organizing a lecture on digital threats, countermeasures, and the principles of bots. Entry to the event is free, but registration is required.
Pavlo Belousov is an expert at the School of Digital Security DSS380, which has been in existence since 2015. DSS380 conducted dozens of trainings for journalists, activists, human rights defenders. Pavlo has been interested in digital security for almost 20 years, and for the past 8 years he has been actively working on this topic: he writes articles, comments on current events in the media (hacker attacks, hacks, etc.), is a co-author of several online courses on the topic of online communication and information protection.
“During the lecture, we will talk about how we are being followed online and how it can threaten us. About the tools to counteract this, the principles of their work. Let’s touch on the topic of trolls and bots and analyze how they work,” says Pavlo Belousov.
The lecture will take place on July 16 at 12:00 in the Dovzhenka Center (81 Chervonoi Kalina Ave.).
