On September 8, at 1:00 p.m., the pyrotechnic group of the 2nd special rapid response center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine removed and destroyed 28 76 mm caliber artillery shells and an M-39 grenade from World War II in the established order.
The dangerous find was discovered during mushroom picking near the town of Radekhiv, Chervonograd District.
The head office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region reminds that ammunition from the Second World War, despite its size and considerable age, is extremely dangerous.
Rescuers call on citizens to be extremely careful in case of discovering such objects.
When you find ammunition, do not touch it or let people near it. Immediately report the find to the Rescue Service by calling 101.
