Primary School No. 11 Implements Full-Day School

Primary School No. 11 is introducing a new educational service — a Full-Day School, where the school day will last from 09:00 to 16:00.

According to the school principal, Nadya Perets, “The Full-Day School is a different philosophy of education, focused on the child’s well-being, their rhythm, needs, and development. It’s a space where the child feels comfortable, acquires knowledge, life skills, and does not become overworked, allowing them to have free time in the evening to rest and be with family. Parents can be at ease regarding their child and have fewer worries about homework.”

In the traditional model, primary classes end before lunch, and children then stay in an extended day group. In contrast, the Full-Day School offers a comprehensive program that alternates between learning, rest, walks, creative activities, and developmental courses.

Among the courses offered are posture disorder prevention, reading and math skills development, playful English language learning, STEM education, and research activities. Importantly, there is no homework in the evening, as all educational tasks are completed at school.
