The combat alert for the firefighters from Novoyavorivsk sounded on February 4 at around 15:14, when the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in the village of Shklo, Yavoriv District. The element claimed a wooden-brick outbuilding, covered with slate, measuring 9×5 meters as a victim.
According to the department, by the time the rescuers arrived, the fire had engulfed the roof of the structure. Thanks to the prompt response and coordinated actions of the team, the fire was localized at 15:56 and completely extinguished at 16:21.
The efforts of four firefighters and the use of one piece of specialized equipment helped avoid the complete destruction of the building. As a result of the successful operation, a major tragedy was prevented since the fire occurred without any casualties or injuries.
