At the session of the Lviv City Council, they supported the issue of holding an architectural competition for the best proposal for a shooting range to be built within the boundaries of the villages of Velyki Hrybovichi and Malekhiv.
Previously, LKP “Sportresurs” was granted permission to develop land management projects regarding the allocation of land plots in the villages of Velyki Hrybovichi and Malekhiv and the development of a detailed plan of the territory for its use as a shooting range. During the discussion of the draft resolution, a decision was made to hold an architectural competition to identify the best proposal within the detailed plan of the territory.
“The competition is necessary so that people can see what will be there. This will remove a lot of questions and tension from residents,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy.
The approximate area of the territory is 25 hectares. There I plan to equip a shooting range, a shooting range, a guest parking lot and roadside service facilities for visitors.
The purpose of creating such a shooting range is the development of shooting sports on the territory of the Lviv urban territorial community and conducting shooting training for the population.
