Today on Ave. 109 Chervonoi Kalina, an extraordinary meeting of the commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergency situations was held, at which a decision was made to dismantle the two-story temporary structure installed in the Dignity Square.
It is known that the facility posed a threat to visitors to the park, as it was constructed of large glass panels on an unfenced construction site in an area designated for recreation.
According to the first deputy mayor of Lviv, Andriy Moskalenko, the entrepreneur received permission documents for the construction of a temporary structure through a court decision.
“This morning, residents, the school management and the head of the Sykhiv district joined the meeting of the commission. The commission of TEB and NS unanimously supported the decision to unlock all networks from this object. Decisions on town-planning conditions and, in general, any permit documents are obtained through court decisions, which is, in principle, absurd. This object is harmful, because there is a school nearby, and, accordingly, there should be a square, not this “hellbud”, – said the first deputy mayor of Lviv Andriy Moskalenko.
Its owner also came to the temporary building and tried to put pressure on the workers. Police representatives were also present at the scene.
“We provided the police with all the necessary documents and informed them that yesterday all city-planning conditions and restrictions, which were previously renewed by the representative due to the decisions of the courts, were canceled yesterday. Two days are provided for the dismantling of the building. Let me remind you that there is a school 100 meters from here, and therefore there is a direct danger for children,” said the first deputy mayor of Lviv Andriy Moskalenko.
It is known that the Sykhiv administration received many appeals regarding this building, in particular from the management of school #98 and parents of students.
“The head of the educational institution appealed to the Sykhiv district administration, because the educational process is starting, and the parents are concerned about the building, which is located next to the Dignity Square. This is an alley through which a large number of students will pass to the educational institution every day. We see that this structure is equipped with large glass panels, which pose a threat, because the work is not carried out on a fenced construction site, and therefore, in case of strong wind or any fluctuations, it can cause harm to both students and visitors to the park,” the head said. Galina Hladyak of Sykhiv RA.
Therefore, at an extraordinary meeting of the commission on TEB and Emergency Situations, they decided to first of all stop the electricity supply, water supply to the building, stop any construction work and dismantle the building within two days.
“This entire territory is in the red lines, where any construction is prohibited according to the urban planning legislation. It refers to recreation. For unknown reasons, the courts sided with the business entity. Although the dismantling of this building should have been done 10 years ago,” added Nataliya Alekseeva, head of affairs of the executive committee.
