Every year, the Osvitoria public union organises the All-Ukrainian Award for Educators. And this year, in addition to the main winner, they recognised teachers in several other nominations.
In particular, the “Choice of Ukrainians”, “Choice by Heart”, “Chemistry Teacher” and “Preschool”.
Thus, our compatriot Larysa Romanyshyn became a finalist of the most prestigious educational competition Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2024 in the nomination “Chemistry Teacher”.
Larysa is a native of Krushelnytsia, Skole district. She started her career as a chemical engineer and later moved into education, developing a unique interdisciplinary approach to teaching. When the war broke out, she joined the School to Go volunteer project to teach Ukrainian children abroad.
She proved that Ukrainian teachers are true innovators who are changing the future of education and inspiring children to achieve great things.
