Today, August 25, in Lviv they are starting to dismantle the emergency retaining wall on the street. Bandery – at the intersection with Doroshenko and General Chuprinka streets. As LKP “Lvivavtodor” emphasizes, the retaining wall is in an unsatisfactory condition and is dangerous, as it can collapse at any moment, a special threat – during heavy rains. Instead, an earth slope and a public space with new green spaces will be arranged here.
During the works, one lane of the street. Banderas along the wall are closed to traffic. Two-way traffic was organized for vehicles on the second lane. Therefore, the public transport that runs here works without changes.
And trams #1 and #2, during dismantling, bypass this intersection in the direction from the city center. In the direction of the city center, the “one” and “two” run according to the usual routes.

“The mileage of these temporary routes remains the same as usual. Accordingly, the movement intervals will also be unchanged. Therefore, the average movement interval for route No. 2 is roughly 7-8 minutes, and for the “one” – 11-12 minutes,” Lviv Electrotrans said.
It is planned to complete all the works and resume the movement of electric transport along the usual routes by October 15 of this year.
