The document provides for the involvement of citizens in membership in voluntary fire brigade units, as well as the creation of appropriate conditions for the adaptation of persons who participated in military operations.
Today, June 22, the Lviv Regional Military Administration signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Lviv OVA, the regional council, the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region and the public union “Firefighters of Ukraine”.
As Andrii Godyk, the first deputy head of the Lviv OVA, said, the signing of this document will contribute to better awareness of the residents of the region about the correct response to the occurrence of emergency situations for the unhindered work of the rescuers of the region.
The purpose of this memorandum is cooperation between participating institutions in attracting citizens to membership in voluntary fire protection units, which are formed by local self-government bodies and operate on the territory of Lviv region; increasing the level of organizational readiness of units of voluntary fire protection, their material and technical support for professional training of rescuers; creating appropriate conditions for the adaptation of persons who participated in military operations by implementing deeper cooperation with the parties and thus ensuring the best coordination of actions during response to emergency situations.
Areas of cooperation within the scope of the document provide for the organization and holding of joint meetings, seminars, conferences, round tables, forums, trainings, actions, cultural and educational events, etc., corresponding to the subject of the memorandum; development and publication of educational and methodological literature, in particular methodological recommendations, manuals, collections, provisions, programs and plans of events within the framework of the memorandum and provision of information support for joint events, coverage of the results of joint activities on official Internet resources, social networks and mass media.
