The total amount of assistance is more than 500 thousand hryvnias.
Another batch of humanitarian aid from the “Poland Hotel Holding” has arrived in Lviv Oblast for the provision of additional places of temporary residence for internally displaced persons in the region.
Humanitarian aid, in the form of household appliances and kitchen sets, will be transferred to institutions of regional subordination, which are under the leadership of the department of social protection of the population of Lviv Oblast.
“We are grateful for another assistance provided to the Ukrainian people. Now, together with the Department of Social Protection, we are working on logistics and distribution of the necessary resources that we have received. We also express our gratitude to the Ukrainian Hotels and Resorts Association (UHRA) and the Polish Development Fund for the coordination and support of the project,” shared Natalya Tabaka, head of the tourism and resorts department of Lviv OVA.
We will remind that thanks to the initiative of the “Polish Hotel Holding”, the support of the Government of the Republic of Poland and the assistance of the State Agency of Strategic Reserves of the Republic of Poland, Lviv Oblast previously received humanitarian cargo worth more than UAH 12 million.
It is about 1.5 thousand beds, 3 thousand sets of bed linen and other necessary goods for the organization of life and living of people: furniture, mattresses, pillows, blankets, towels, kitchen equipment.
It should be noted that 251,000 IDPs currently officially live in Lviv Region, of which 75,000 are children.
