On February 2, a session of the Chervonograd City Council took place

At the plenary session of the session, the deputies introduced changes to the budget of the Chervonograd City Council for 2023, which, in particular, provide for the allocation of UAH 300,000 to the KP “Chervonogradzhitlokomunservice” for the repayment of debts for the purchase of Euro containers, and UAH 99,800 allocated for the purchase of benches for the construction of protective structures of civil defense (PRU and basement premises), which are used to shelter participants in the educational process. In addition, UAH 126,000 is planned to be used for the purchase of a steam boiler for the Pozdymir village educational complex.

Nadiya Zemnytska, deputy mayor for the activities of executive authorities, reported on the work carried out in 2022. As the deputy mayor noted, last year our community received more than 715 tons of humanitarian aid from international and Ukrainian donors. Therefore, the city transferred 712 tons of aid to military units, to the front lines, and to charitable funds. The humanitarian headquarters met 644 medical requests for internally displaced persons, 4,600 requests for food, hygiene products, clothing, baby food, etc. 9 tons of products and hygiene products were allocated from the city Red Cross Society of Ukraine, 1988 sets from the organization World Central Kitchen.

More than 15 trips to the front line were made to transport parcels to our soldiers. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, a total of 526 shipments have been made across Ukraine. The humanitarian headquarters on behalf of the Chervonograd community sent 8 cars for the needs of the Armed Forces, 1 car is being re-registered for the city assembly center.

During this time, Chervonograd entered into partnerships with three cities: Oldenburg (Germany), Vahorjera (Latvia) and Marijampole (Lithuania). Cooperation continues with more than 10 foundations and organizations that help our community to carry out its activities, taking into account the challenges facing Ukraine today.

“I thank the deputies’ corps for their joint work. Although sometimes there were misunderstandings between us, I am grateful for your support and help in implementing ideas. However, I made a decision for myself that this report and my speech in the walls of the council will be the last. Therefore, at the next meeting of the session, I ask you to consider my application for dismissal,” Nadiya Zemnytska concluded her report.

At the meeting of the session, the deputies voted for the free transfer from the balance sheet of the executive committee of the Chervonograd City Council of a specialized car refueling station, a Starlink 3G modem, two thermal imagers and a quadrocopter to the TO910 military unit. In addition, 2 quadcopters will be transferred to the balance of the military unit TO998, and two thermal imagers, a quadcopter and the KVSANNIDRON-G6 hardware complex will be received by military unit TO284.

After considering the appeal of the culture department, the Chervonograd city council also agreed on the reconstruction of the building of the Sosniv music school with the aim of repurposing part of its premises into housing for internally displaced persons, with their further use as a tourist hotel-hostel.
