During the event, the participants got acquainted with the work of policemen and rescuers.
The excursion began with a visit to the Center for Rapid Response to Crimes and Events, where young people toured the offices of police officers. Here, the participants were also told about the procedure for registering messages and statements about offenses and events and the subsequent response of police officers.
During the tour, they presented the equipped cars of the operational-sudden action corps, the command and staff car, and the forensic laboratory. Here, young people actively participated in the detection of traces of dactyloscopic origin and examined objects with the help of alternative sources of illumination.
Employees of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region demonstrated modern fire trucks and their emergency and rescue equipment, the equipment of rescuers and talked about compliance with the rules of fire safety in everyday life, when operating household electrical appliances and about the occurrence of a fire in a residence and how to respond correctly during the occurrence of various emergencies situations.
At the end of the tour, visitors were also shown the work of the canine and explosives service.
It should be noted that the project “Creation of a rapid response system to an incident in Lviv” is implemented by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv Region within the framework of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program of the European Neighborhood Instrument.
