The inspection is carried out with a preventive and explanatory purpose.
As part of the “month of safety” on inland water facilities of Lviv Region, employees of the Transport and Communications Department of Lviv Oblast conducted an inspection of the “Viking Bay” recreation base for the opening of the season for the use of small vessels.
During the inspection, the seasonal rescue post was checked and it was established that the discharge regime at the base was not violated; use of water transport not properly registered was not detected.
“The main task was to carry out preventive and explanatory work on the prevention of accidents with small vessels, the rights and responsibilities of base managers and persons responsible for the management system of shipping safety, as well as to prove cases of accidents with water transport and their causes.” – said Stepan Rudnytskyi, head of LOVA’s transport and communications department
The inspection of the recreation base “Viking Bay” was carried out jointly with representatives of the Podilsk-Carpathian interregional administration of the State Service of Sea and River Transport of Ukraine.
We will remind that this week the base for the parking of small vessels “Fisherman’s Corner” and compliance with the safety rules for the operation of small vessels on the Zahidny Bug River were checked.
