
In Lviv, on Zamarska Street, temporary housing is already home to eight displaced families. These families have arrived from various cities of Ukraine, including Nikopol, Pology, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Horlivka, Avdiivka, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv. Among the residents are 10 individuals with disabilities who require special care.
Today, 17 March, at the city council meeting, the list of residents was approved. The building of the former sanatorium on Zamarska Street has been renovated and adapted for internally displaced persons with special needs. This was reported by the Lviv City Council.
The project, carried out with grant funds, is expected to provide housing for up to 70 people in total. The building currently has 17 rooms, three kitchens, children’s playrooms, and inclusive infrastructure. The work was valued at 56 million hryvnias, of which nearly 15 million are grant funds.
Additional works are planned, including landscaping with ramps and green zones. The allocation of residential premises is determined by the city, and the accommodations will be available to displaced persons for five years.
