As the residents of Sokal know, due to the accident at the sewage collector in Sokal, which occurred on May 29, most of the townspeople were left without water, and Sheptytskogo Street was partially blocked.
The situation was difficult. Because of this, on May 30, the vehicles of Sokalvodokanal, the State Emergency Service and the local fire brigades of the villages of Khorobryu and Spasiv carried water around the city. The local business also provided assistance to the townspeople by supplying water.
Today, June 1, water supply in Sokal was restored after 2 p.m. Since the system was filled gradually, different areas of the city received water at different times.
