He will work on the basis of the new administrative building of the National Police State Administration in the Lviv region, which is being built on Stryyska Street.
Today, September 22, the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, together with the head of the Lviv Police Department, Maksym Kozytskyi, inspected the progress of the construction of the new administrative building of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region.
The facility is located in Lviv, on Stryyska Street. There will be a quick response center for any crimes.
Repair works are carried out within the framework of the project “Creation of a system of rapid response to crimes and events in Lviv”. As Oleksandr Shlyakhovskyi, head of the National Police Directorate, said, the project was started in 2019, but due to the pandemic, and later due to the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, it was suspended.
Now, thanks to funds from European partners, work has been resumed at the facility. The total cost of the works, according to preliminary estimates, is 6 million euros.
The building has five floors. Criminal analysis services, KORD, operators of the “102” service will be located here. In addition, investigators and cyber police officers will work in the center.
The newly constructed center should be operational next year.
For reference: The project “Creation of a rapid response system to crimes and events in Lviv” was launched within the framework of tripartite cooperation “Poland-Belarus-Ukraine”. In connection with the beginning of a full-scale war, Belarus ceased to be a participant in the project. Now it is co-financed by other European countries.
The project aims to improve the material and technical base of the Lviv Oblast police, introduce technical innovations, and ensure the possibility of 24-hour operational monitoring of the situation in the city. It will also help to quickly process and analyze the received information about law and order in Lviv.
