The work of the Lviv MAF was continued until the end of martial law. Or at least a year if the war ends sooner. It is important that we are talking about only those kiosks that work in the city legally, that is, they are in the Comprehensive Scheme and pay taxes to the budget. The corresponding decision was approved the day before at the session of the city council.
“The decision is consolidated and fully agreed with entrepreneurs – we had several meetings with representatives of small businesses the day before.
The decision extends the validity of the treaties until the end of martial law. That is, entrepreneurs do not need to go to offices and collect certificates in order to renew documents. This will happen automatically. The legislator gave us such an opportunity – there is a corresponding decision of the Cabinet of Ministers. At the same time, to my great surprise, some entrepreneurs insisted on the need to sign an additional agreement. We have kept such an option for “those who wish”, but I would like to draw your attention to the fact that it will be a waste of time: it is not necessary to do it, therefore it is not necessary,” said Lviv’s deputy mayor for urban planning Lyubomyr Zubach.
The official emphasized that the strategic position of the city is unchanged – reducing the number of temporary structures in the city – in an evolutionary way, with respect for every entrepreneur.
“Even with this decision, the number of MAFs was reduced: minus 50. In particular, all temporary structures were removed from the Comprehensive Scheme, the owners of which obtained ownership rights in an incomprehensible, and therefore illegal, way. We will take them from the streets of the city after appropriate legal decisions. They also formalized previously adopted decisions on the dismantling of temporary structures that prevented the reconstruction of streets, public spaces and parks,” added Lyubomyr Zubach.
In addition, in Lviv, an inventory of all kiosks should be conducted in approximately half a year and a new Comprehensive scheme should be developed, which will be valid for the following years. The relevant working group will also be updated.
