On October 1, the first tree was already planted – a magnolia in honor of the memory of Vladyslav Palenička. A military serviceman from Stryi, had the rank of lieutenant, was the commander of the second airmobile company of the fourth airmobile battalion.

A man died on August 23 near the settlement of Biloghirka, in the Kherson region, during tank and artillery shelling. He was 23 years old.

The organizers of the Alley of Heroes project plan to create a map with a QR code, which will contain the names of all the dead and the history of each named magnolia.

We will remind you that a few years ago, the “City of Magnolias” project was born in Stryi. It was initiated by the organization “Youth of Stryshchyna”.

Magnolia seedlings are planted near churches, kindergartens, schools, hospitals, government institutions, etc. The magnolia flower became a symbol of Stria.
