On 28 October, an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of Drohobych City Council was held. The members of the executive committee considered and agreed on a number of issues related to the budget, education, housing and communal services of the community.
Drohobych postponed the decision to increase the heat tariff
The decision to allocate funds from the budget reserve fund to implement the decisions of the Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Commission was supported. The decision to conduct an information audit was approved and the Regulation on the publication of open data by structural units of the local self-government body was approved.
The executive committee also approved several decisions in the educational sphere concerning the registration of children in educational institutions. They also approved the release of a land plot in the village of Bolekhivtsi and the approval of acts on unjustifiably retained funds to be returned.
There was a lengthy discussion of the draft decision on the approval of heat energy tariffs. In the end, tariffs for heat produced from alternative sources were approved for Bioalternative LLC and Drohobychteploenergo. It was decided to postpone the approval of tariffs for traditional heat energy for several days to study in detail the risks that this decision may pose to the population (after the moratorium is lifted) and to the community’s utilities sector today.
The executive committee also made changes to the composition of the commissions operating under the council’s executive committee. The need to make changes was caused by the personal composition of the commissions. Today, the Executive Committee has changed the mechanism, so in the future, the personal composition of the commissions will be replaced by the official composition.
