A multifunctional shopping and entertainment center will be built in the Ryasne microdistrict

In Lviv, at 313 Shevchenka Street, on the unfinished site, they plan to build a multifunctional building with above-ground and underground parking. The Executive Committee of the Lviv City Council approved urban planning conditions and restrictions for designing the object.

Kvartal City Company LLC is planning a reconstruction with the addition of an administrative and household building and a production workshop under a multifunctional building with an underground parking lot. The shopping and entertainment center provides both commercial and public functions and even an IMAX cinema with modern halls.

A new construction of a multi-level parking lot is also planned. The surface parking lot will have 277 parking spaces, and the underground one will have 217. A large public space is planned nearby, which will also be inclusive. There will also be a square with places for rest.

“Actually, this project can be interpreted not only as commercial, but also social. After all, it foresees a significant improvement of the infrastructure for residents of Ryasny, who will not need to travel to other areas of Lviv to receive certain services: commercial and entertainment. I think it will serve not only for Ryasny, but also for Ryasne-Ruska, and even for the neighboring Ivano-Frankivsk community of the Lviv agglomeration,” said Lyubomyr Zubach, deputy mayor of Lviv for urban planning.

At the executive committee, an amendment was made to the project from the Department of Architecture and Urbanism regarding the sketches of the complex’s facade and the landscaping project.

“There is a proposal to submit facade sketches for approval in order to work out the best solution, as well as a landscaping plan. We aim to create the most inclusive environment here according to all the new standards, maybe even put some equipment for rehabilitation or other needs. That’s why we want to work in more detail with the architect on these points together,” said Anton Kolomeytsev, head of the architecture and urban planning department of the Lviv City Council.
