Residents of Sheptytsky are invited to take part in the First Forum for Veterans, which will take place on March 2. The exact location will be provided by phone. Participation in the forum is free, but the number of places is limited with a priority for those who register in advance.
The forum program includes a series of panel discussions on topics such as:
- Rehabilitation
- Reintegration
- The Role of Veterans in the Community
Both veterans and representatives of governmental organizations and NGOs will participate in the discussions.
An exposition of services available to veterans and their families will also be organized. The forum is implemented by the ‘Foundation for Development and Strategic Changes’ together with the Sheptytsky Center for Resilience, supported by the ‘Fair Transition of Coal Regions and Green Recovery of the Energy Sector’ project, coordinated by GIZ GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection.
