In the future, 6 ambulances will be transferred to Dnipropetrovsk region, 2 will remain in Lviv region, and Sumy and Zakarpattia regions will receive one each.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea Dmytro Ponomarenko, the co-chairman of the group on inter-parliamentary relations with the Republic of Korea Dmytro Pryputnya and the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko, health care institutions will receive an additional 10 ambulances. Hyundai cars for interhospital transportation of patients will be transferred to hospitals in several regions of Ukraine in the future.
People’s Deputy of Ukraine Dmytro Pryputen thanked everyone who participated in the implementation of this project.
“This is our next humanitarian project, which we managed to implement together with the Republic of Korea. We transfer ambulances to other regions in accordance with the distribution of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea Dmytro Ponomarenko, Humanitarian the “Good neighbors international” fund, which bought these ambulances from hospitals in Seoul, which later equipped and performed maintenance. We are not stopping and will continue to work on new humanitarian projects for Ukraine,” said the People’s Deputy.
As the general director of the Lviv Regional Center of Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine Andriy Vasko told, about 300 ambulances have passed through the institution since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, which were accepted and transferred to other regions on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
“These vehicles are ready to transport at least two lying patients, because despite their small dimensions from the outside, they are quite well planned from the inside. In the context of cooperation with the Republic of Korea, we expect the implementation of further projects on providing communication, digitalization and communication technologies, in particular this concerns tablets, radio communication stations, portable on-board walkie-talkies for emergency medical assistance vehicles, as well as standardization of the emergency medical assistance service system of Lviv Oblast in accordance with the requirements of the European Union,” Andriy Vasko noted.
