The competition took place in Milan from 21 to 23 June.
The national team won bronze in the group exercises with three ribbons and two balls. Our country was represented by Alina Melnyk, an athlete from Lviv region, as well as Maria Vysochenska, Diana Baeva, Kira Shyrykina and Valeria Peremeta.
The top three winners in this exercise:
1. China – 32,600 points
2. France – 32,100 points
3. Ukraine 🇺🇦 – 31,850 points
“Alina Melnyk is a representative of the Dmytro Sydoruk Children and Youth Sports School. The athlete is also a candidate for participation in the Olympic Games, which will take place from 26 July to 11 August in Paris,” said Roman Khimyak, head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
