On January 17, residents of Mostyska gathered to honor their Hero, Andriy Myronovych Luhovyi, a resident of the city. Carrying flowers and national flags, they formed a solemn corridor to escort him home.
Family, friends, comrades-in-arms, and representatives of the Mostyska City Council paid tribute to the fallen Hero. A joint prayer service, led by clergy, was held in his memory.
Born on June 3, 1980, Andriy Luhovyi sustained severe injuries while defending Ukraine near the Serebryanske Forest. Despite a month-long fight for his life, he tragically passed away.
Today at 7:00 PM, a memorial service will be held at his home, and the funeral ceremony will take place tomorrow at 11:00 AM.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the soldier who gave his life for Ukraine’s independence.
