
For the first time in the history of Lviv Polytechnic National University, a woman will take on the role of rector. The newly elected head of the university is Dr. Natalia Shakhovska, a distinguished scientist in artificial intelligence and computer science.
Rector Election Results
🔹 First round (March 12):
- Natalia Shakhovska secured 1,119 votes (27.2%)
- Nazar Podolchak, Doctor of Economics, received 762 votes (18.54%)
- A total of 3,534 people participated in the election
🔹 Second round (March 19):
- Shakhovska won with over 55% of the votes, securing her election as rector
