Drohobych Lyceum No. 2 became a centre of innovation and technology, hosting the “Inno Tech” festival. Students from grades 2 to 11 showcased their projects, including Smart Home systems, environmental monitoring, and robotic models based on Arduino and LEGO. Their developments indicate that an intellectual elite is forming in the Drohobych community, capable of rebuilding Ukraine. The city mayor, Taras Kuchma, highlighted the importance of creating conditions for nurturing these talents.
The event united talented young people, educators, parents, and guests around the goal of developing STEM education. The atmosphere was filled with creativity, teamwork, and vibrant emotions. Evaluators presented the teams in various categories, with the People’s Choice Award going to the “RoboPulse” team from Stebnyk Gymnasium No. 6 for their “Robot-Car” project.
Organisers thank partners, including Oleksandr Shustov from the IT STEP Computer Academy and Ihor Khomin from the Student Science and Engineering Creativity Centre, for their support of young inventors. The “Inno Tech” festival demonstrated that the youth of Drohobych are ready to shape the technological future of Ukraine even today.
