The third (district) stage of the all-Ukrainian competition “Side by Side All-Ukrainian School Leagues” among students of general secondary education institutions in the 2023-2024 academic year under the slogan “TOGETHER WE WILL WIN” in volleyball is underway in Truskavets in the sports hall of the sports and recreation complex of the Sportovets children’s and youth sports club.
The winners of the volleyball competition among 9th grade girls’ teams of general secondary education institutions of Drohobych district have already been determined:
– 1st place – Truskavets city territorial community, Truskavets educational complex “Secondary school №2-gymnasium”,
– 2nd place – Boryslav city territorial community, secondary school №3 in Boryslav. Boryslav,
– 3rd place – Medenytsia settlement territorial community, Verkhniy Dorozhiv village,
– 4th place – Drohobych city territorial community, lyceum №16 named after Yuriy Drohobych,
– 5th place – Skhidnytsia settlement territorial community, Opaka village.
Thus, the team of the Truskavets City Territorial Community, Truskavets Educational Complex “Secondary School No. 2-Gymnasium”, won the right to represent Drohobych District in the IV regional stage of the All-Ukrainian competition “Side by Side All-Ukrainian School Leagues” in girls’ volleyball.
On April 11-12, 2024, the teams of 9th grade boys who won the second stage of “Side by Side” among the territorial communities of Drohobych district, namely: Lyceum No. 2 of Drohobych. Drohobych, educational complex “Secondary school №2-gymnasium” of Truskavets, secondary school of the village of Pidbuzh (Skhidnytsia TG), secondary school of the village of Medenychi and secondary school of the village of Boryslav. Boryslav.
