Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy together with Ukrainians from all over the country call on the world community to close the skies over Ukraine. A social video calling for the protection of our country was shot especially for this purpose.
The video features Ukrainians defending Ukraine, being forced into hiding, helping with humanitarian aid and even giving birth during the bombing. All of them appeal to the world community to help Ukraine and influence the closure of the skies over our country.
“Every hour of discussions about closing the Ukrainian sky leads to hundreds of civilian deaths. I can’t imagine how leaders who have the power to act but don’t do it will live with it. This is our message to the world. Demand that your governments close the skies. Go to rallies. Share information on social networks using the hashtag #closethesky, ”Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy wrote in a post to the video.
