At the checkpoint “Krakivets”, border guards of the Lviv detachment, on the information of officers of the operational and search department of the 27th border guard detachment, in cooperation with operatives of the Lviv detachment, together with customs officers, found more than 120 items of clothing and footwear of various brands.
The driver, a native of Ternopil region born in 1998, chose the “green corridor” lane. Border guards found the goods in the luggage compartment of the minibus Mercedes.
The value of the found goods may reach up to UAH 1 million.
According to the driver, the detected goods were a parcel that he had picked up in Italy and was supposed to send to Kyiv by post.
Customs officers drew up a report on violation of customs regulations. The goods were seized according to the established procedure.
