The Lviv Organ Hall invites visitors to its events: repertoire for October

The Lviv Organ Hall continues to defend itself on the cultural front and invites visitors to a rich October program

On October 6-7, violinist Anatoly Bazhenov and organist Valeriya Balakhovska, soloists of the National House of Organ and Chamber Music in Kyiv, will play the program “Bach. Rheinberger. Karabyts”.

October 11 – the premiere at the Lviv Organ Hall – “The Little Prince. Symphony concert”, together with the Symphony Orchestra of the Luhansk Regional Philharmonic, music by Lubomir Lischuk.

On October 14, the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, we listen to music by Ukrainian composers. Concert “Lysenko. Kos-Anatolian. Symphony concert” will be performed by the orchestra of the Lviv National Academy of Music named after Lysenko

Special Ukrainian program “Kolessa. Lunyov. Nazarov” will also be performed on October 15 by organist Svitlana Pozdnysheva.

October 17 “Organ miniatures. Volodymyr Koshuba” will be performed by a soloist of the National House of Organ and Chamber Music in Kyiv.

Astor Piazzola’s passionate music on accordion and piano will be performed on October 19 and 20 by Bohdan Andriychuk and Ivan Ostapovich.

October 21 – “Organ Symphony” – an evening of powerful symphonic music for solo organ performed by Svitlana Pozdnysheva.

On October 22, visitors will be surprised by the Luhansk Philharmonic Brass Quintet.

On October 23, there will be a wonderful Ukrainian premiere – “Bibik. Beardless Ostapovich”.

The end of the month will be held under the sign of organist from Germany Jakobus Gladziwa, who will perform in the Organ Hall on October 29 and 30. His “Organic Meditation. Jacobus Gladziwa” is a special program of works by European composers, among which Ukrainian authors also occupy a worthy place.

Also in October, favorites will be “Moonlight Sonata” and “Chopin’s Waltzes” performed by pianist Andrii Makarevych. Vivaldi’s “Seasons” will be played by Svitlana Pozdnysheva and Adrian Bodnar. Organists Olena Matselyukh, Serhii Pavliv, Mark Novakovich and Vitaly Dvorovy will delight with solo programs throughout the month.
