Well-known researchers and publishers of Mykhailo Hrushevsky’s legacy will take part in the event
On September 29, 2022, the Mykhailo Hrushevskyi State Memorial Museum in Lviv invites you to celebrate the 156th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Ukrainian historian, Chairman of the Ukrainian Central Council Mykhailo Hrushevskyi and the 120th anniversary of the construction of the Hrushevskyi villa in Lviv.

Laying flowers at the monument to Mykhailo Hrushevsky (Shevchenko Avenue) – 11 a.m.
Celebrations at the Lviv Museum of Mykhailo Hrushevsky – 4 p.m.
As part of the celebrations at the museum (Ivana Franka Street, 154), the following events will take place:
Presentation of a unique rarity from the family library of the outstanding historian, student of Mykhailo Hrushevskyi, Ivan Krypyakevych (presented by Mr. Lesya Krypyakevych); author’s graphic works of Roman Petryk “Lviv villa of the Hrushevskys”.
“Mykhailo Hrushevskyi. To the history of the latest research”: scientific ladders.
Opening of the exhibition “Modern pear studies from the museum’s collection”
Let’s talk about the history of the development of pear studies, its origins, current state and prospects.
Well-known researchers Leonid Zashkilnyak, Ihor Melnyk, Lidia Veremienko, Roman Kushnir, Stepan Gelei, Myron Kapral are invited to participate and discuss.
