For 32 years in a row, at the beginning of October, the International Theater Festival “Golden Lion” took place in Lviv, where Lviv residents and guests of the city could see impressive theatrical productions of Ukrainian and foreign theaters. This year, it is impossible to hold the festival in a full-fledged format, but a number of events adapted to the conditions of the war will take place.
Golden Lion days will be held in Lviv from October 6 to 11. During these days, performances reflecting the wartime, relevant today, will be presented. All proceeds from the tickets will be transferred to the support of the Armed Forces. In particular, for 68 separate Yegerska Brigade named after Oleksy Dovbush will be bought a three-phase gasoline generator and thermal clothing for our soldiers, which will be extremely necessary in the cold season.

5:00 p.m. – Presentation of the audio collection “Song of Songs” with the participation of the author Bohdanka Matiyash, with the performance of original music by the composer Artem Bemba (location of the Voskresinnia theater, 5 Hryhorenka Square)
19.00 – Lviv Regional Puppet Theater with the performance “Shmata. One evening in a bomb shelter” by A. Bondarenko (16+) directed by Ya. Tytarenko (Gonty St., 8)
19.00 – Lviv Academic Theater “Resurrection” with the play “Behind the Door” by V. Borchert, staged by Ya. Fedorishyn, Honored Artist of Ukraine (5 Hryhorenko Square)
