The Klymentii Sheptytskyi Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life invites you to a masterclass in glass painting to be held this Sunday, 14 July.
Oksana Andrushchenko’s exhibition of glass painting “Triune” is coming to an end in the Lviv Skansen. However, museum visitors have one more opportunity to see the exhibition and get to know the artist’s work better by attending the artist’s glass painting masterclass.
Oksana Andrushchenko is a Lviv-based artist whose works cannot be confused with anyone else’s. They are distinguished by a refined compositional structure, flatness and geometricity characteristic of folk patterns, in particular in decorative fabrics or carvings. It is also firmly grounded in tradition and the subject matter with which the artist works. Hutsul candlesticks-triplets have become one of the cross-cutting themes of her works and compositions.
