An exhibition of photographs of Mariupol before the occupation was opened in Lviv

The “I – Mariupol” support center for displaced people in Lviv opened an exhibition of photos of how Mariupol celebrated Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine last year. With this exhibition, the organizers wanted to remind the residents of Mariupol that their hometown was, is, and will be Ukraine.

The exhibition of the “I – Mariupol” center took place next to the Lviv Municipal Art Center. In the presented photos, you could see Mariupol in 2021. The exhibition was visited by the mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boychenko, and the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy. At the same time as Lviv, photos from the exhibition were opened in other cities of Ukraine, where “I – Mariupol” centers operate.

As the organizers noted, the purpose of the exhibition is to show Ukrainians that Mariupol is a Ukrainian patriotic city, and to remind Mariupol residents how beautiful their city is, so it will definitely be de-occupied and restored.
