Students from the “School of the Free and Caring” in Lviv visited the local office of the company Promavtomatyka as part of an educational initiative aimed at sparking interest in modern energy technologies and guiding youth towards informed career choices. The event offered a real-life demonstration of how solar energy is harnessed and converted into electricity.
The company announced plans to make such tours a regular activity. During the excursion, the students climbed to the rooftop of the office, where solar panels are installed, to observe their functionality in action.
CEO Mykhailo Hanchuk personally spoke to the visitors, sharing insights on:
-
how solar power plants work;
-
practical tips for energy conservation in everyday life;
-
his personal journey from a technical school graduate to the head of a company with over 700 employees.
“To find joy in your work, you must explore different paths and eventually become a true expert in your field,” Hanchuk emphasized.
In the hands-on part of the visit, students entered the laboratories to learn how silicon crystals — the building blocks of solar panels — are grown. They also discovered how light photons initiate the process of electricity generation.
Such educational tours are regularly held by Promavtomatyka not only in Lviv but also in Vinnytsia, as part of the company’s commitment to promoting clean energy and supporting young people in making conscious career choices.
