On the 1566th day of the full-scale war, law enforcement officers report that the situation regarding compliance with the law and public order in Lviv region remains under control.
The police urge residents of the region to follow safety rules, not to ignore air raid alerts and to make sure they go to shelter during an air raid warning. In the event of incoming enemy missiles, citizens are asked not to share photo or video materials on social networks, as such information may be useful to Russian forces.
Since the beginning of Russian aggression, police in Lviv region have been patrolling the streets of Lviv and other populated areas of the region in reinforced mode, working to prevent offences, solving crimes and providing citizens with the full range of police services. Operators of the 102 service receive calls from the public around the clock.
Over the past 24 hours, on 7 June, the 102 hotline received 1,203 reports from citizens; all of them have been processed, with law enforcement officers responding to the calls and providing assistance to residents.
The police thank citizens for their vigilance and cooperation and remind them: if you spot any suspicious persons or vehicles, as well as potentially explosive objects, you should immediately call the 102 emergency line. Residents are also advised to keep a power bank and torch charged in case of power cuts, and to check official sources for information on outage schedules.
