According to employees of the Sambir district police department, on December 28, a 24-year-old resident of one of the villages of the district and his acquaintance, a resident of the neighboring village of 48 years, drinking alcohol in his friend’s house. About the first o’clock in the morning, when the owner went to bed, there was a conflict between the guests, during which the younger struck the older several blows with an ax, in particular, into the head and leg. In the morning, ambulance doctors took the injured man to the hospital and reported the event of law enforcement.
In fact, investigators of the territorial unit of the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 121 (intentional grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.
