A 40-year-old man who sold cocaine in Lviv will be tried

Under the procedural supervision of the Frankivsk District Prosecutor’s Office of Lviv, an indictment against a 40-year-old man was sent to court. He is charged with illegal acquisition, transportation, storage and sale of narcotic drugs on a particularly large scale (Part 1, 2, 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that the local resident was illegally selling cocaine in Lviv. Prices for the goods were pre-set. The customer made an order by phone. After that, the man made an appointment, during which he transferred the drugs directly from hand to hand.

The accused was chosen as a measure of restraint in the form of detention without the right to be released on bail.

The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region, with operational support provided by the SBU Office in Lviv region.

Note: In accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved by law and established by a court verdict of guilty.
