The Patrol Police of the Lviv region emphasized that TruCam devices are used by patrol officers to measure speed in dangerous areas and places where the largest number of traffic accidents with serious consequences occurred.
We remind you that the speed limit in populated areas is 50 km/h.
However, a 22-year-old driver of a Skoda Kodiaq and a 53-year-old driver of a Mercedes Benz Gl seemed to have forgotten these requirements and exceeded the speed limit by more than twice
We remind you that:
❗Pursuant to Part 1 of Article 122 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, exceeding the established speed limits by more than 20 km/h entails a fine of UAH 340;
Pursuant to Article 122(4) of the Code of Administrative Offenses, exceeding the speed limit by more than 50 km/h is punishable by a fine of UAH 1,700.
Follow this elementary rule and you will save time, money, and most importantly, your health and life and those of other road users.
