A man deprived of his driver’s license for 10 years faces criminal liability and a fine of almost 60,000 hryvnias

The other day, bicycle patrol officers noticed the driver of a Peugeot 508 parked in a place for people with disabilities on Tadeusz Kosciuszko Street.

During the inspection of the documents of the 29-year-old man, the patrol officers found that he is deprived of the right to drive vehicles for 10 years in 2021. The police have repeatedly issued rulings on him for driving without a driver’s license.

Since the driver deliberately does not comply with the court’s decision, an investigative team was called to the scene. Now he faces responsibility under Art. 382 (Non-execution of a court decision) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Communicating with the citizen, the bicycle patrol found signs of drug intoxication. He refused the inspection.

Protocols were drawn up on the violator: according to part 5 of Art. 126 (Repeat within a year of driving a vehicle while deprived of rights) and Part 1 of Art. 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) of the Criminal Procedure Code. He was also sentenced under Part 6 of Art. 122 (Stopping of vehicles in places for people with disabilities.

The amount of the fine, which this time threatens the driver, is almost 60,000 hryvnias and an additional deprivation of rights for up to 8 years.

The violator’s car was taken away by a sober driver.
