On the border with Poland, border guards of the Lviv Border Guard Detachment exposed a “couple” who had married, probably without intentions of starting a family.
In particular, a 40-year-old native of Khmelnytsky presented marriage documents to a 35-year-old woman, also from Khmelnytsky, who has a group II disability.
The couple were travelling by bus through the Krakivets checkpoint last night. The man and the woman were allegedly travelling to the Czech Republic for his wife’s treatment. He said he was going to treat her autism, and she was going to treat her stomach. In the end, the “newlyweds” did not ask each other’s date of birth either. The marriage was concluded on 19 September.
The detachment’s operatives reported the signs of a criminal offence under Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine” to the National Police.
