In two districts of Lviv Oblast, SBU officers exposed supporters of Russian narratives

According to the SBU materials, two more collaborators will be held accountable before the law.

In Yavoriv Oblast, special service officers exposed a “RuZZian peace” connoisseur who glorified the criminal actions of the enemy’s army and spread Kremlin propaganda narratives. The perpetrator turned out to be a 54-year-old native of the Russian Federation, who has lived in Yavorov for about thirty years and has Ukrainian citizenship.

On her personal page in one of the banned social networks, the woman publicly supported the “Putin regime” and justified Russia’s war against our country. A supporter of the Kremlin, she also incited national enmity and distributed materials with banned communist symbols, for which she “sincerely repents”.

Another figure, a local resident of Drohobych, openly propagated the ideology of the enemy and distributed the materials of the communist and national socialist totalitarian regimes.

As part of the open criminal proceedings, the defendants were informed of suspicion for:

– Part 1 of Art. 161 (violation of the equality of citizens depending on their racial, national, regional belonging, religious beliefs, disability and on other grounds);

– Part 1 of Art. 436-1 (production, distribution of communist and Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes);

– Part 2 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Investigations were carried out by operatives of the Yavoriv Regional Office of the Ukrainian Security Service of Ukraine in Lviv Region together with investigators of the Ukrainian Security Service of Ukraine in Lviv Region under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
