A 35-year-old woman was found guilty of premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) following a public indictment by the prosecutors of the Sambir District Prosecutor’s Office.
She was sentenced to 9 years in prison.
Prosecutors proved in court that in November 2022 in Sambor, the convict came to visit her 36-year-old friend for her belongings.
Acquaintances sat down together at the table and drank alcohol that the husband had bought. During the feast, a conflict arose between them due to the woman’s missing belongings, which the latter somehow sold to buy alcohol.
During the argument, the accused grabbed a knife from the table and began to stab the victim in the stomach and chest with it. The latter died on the spot from his injuries.
