Today, every Ukrainian fights on his own front: soldiers who defend territorial integrity on the front lines, residents, volunteers who help the army in the rear, migrants, work and ensure the work of the economic sector. Among them are the youth of Chervonohrad district in Lviv region. Their initiative allows to support both the military and the migrants who have found refuge here.
Yes, in Sokal there is a social project – a cafe “HOUSE”. It was created on the initiative of the NGO “Ukrainian Youth of Christ”.
“We are united. We are with God. We work together to win, ”is the main motto of the cafe.
There is a coffee shop based on the catechetical school. She started work in April.
Internally displaced persons have free lunches and grocery kits here. The chef is an immigrant who found temporary shelter in the Chervonohrad region.
In addition, young people bake cupcakes for our military in the kitchen. Sweets are sent to the forefront.
It should be noted that more than 20,000 displaced Ukrainians who fled their homes due to hostilities found refuge in the Chervonohrad district. More than 4,000 of them live in the Sokal community.
