Lviv Oblast, which has become one of the four regions of Ukraine where, under the pilot project of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, a service mechanism for individual support will be developed within the framework of the system of transition of our Defenders from military service to civilian life, is preparing to organize the work of veterans’ assistants.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine reported that the relevant service offices will be operational at the beginning of autumn.
“Meanwhile, the stage of competitive selection of those wishing to join this experiment will continue. So far, 325 candidates have already been registered for the positions of veteran’s assistant, who, in the case of successful enrollment in the “pilot”, will undergo training at the Centers for Veteran Development, and then begin work as assigned. We remind you that it is planned to involve 400 such specialists in the project,” the Ministry of Veterans Affairs informed.
In general, this project is designed for the next six months. Candidates for the position of veteran’s assistant, if they wish to join the project and feel the potential of a socially active and caring person, still have time to submit an application in electronic form for participation in the competition exclusively through the E-veteran information portal.
