More than 20 million hryvnias will be additionally allocated for the implementation of priority infrastructure projects in the Lviv region

The program for the implementation of priority infrastructure projects in the Lviv region is the second in terms of funding among all regional target programs this year.

According to the order of the head of the regional military administration dated November 11, its amount was increased by another 23.6 million hryvnias due to the redistribution of funding from objects for which there is a risk of their non-use (or in connection with savings during repair work), and as well as attracting funds from communities and international partners for the comprehensive completion of already started projects.

Taking into account the changes made, more than UAH 302.5 million have been approved for its implementation in the current year, of which: UAH 19.1 million is a subvention to the regional budget of the funds of territorial communities; UAH 20.4 million – assistance from the Lesser Poland Voivodeship of the Republic of Poland.

The funds of the Program are directed to the following two directions:

repair of 30 institutions for long-term residence of IDPs and employees of relocated enterprises with the possibility of creating about 3.5 thousand places;
implementation of 18 strategic regional projects (logistics, security and social infrastructure).

As of today, 194.5 million hryvnias have already been allocated for construction and repair works at these facilities. With these funds, 3 social infrastructure projects have already been completed, as well as repairs have been carried out at 13 facilities, where an additional 1.7 thousand places have been created for the residence of forcibly displaced persons.
