The relevant order was adopted on September 23 within the framework of the program for the implementation of priority infrastructure projects in the Lviv region.
Therefore, 42.3 million hryvnias were additionally approved for carrying out repair work in institutions for the accommodation of IDPs and employees of enterprises displaced from the zone of active hostilities.
Changes to the program include:
- inclusion of additional 5 institutions, which after carrying out repair work will be able to provide additional 660 places for resettled people to live, in particular: VSP “Vyshnyany Vocational College of Lviv National University of Nature Management”; “Medenytskyi Professional Lyceum” Medical School; inactive premises of the Dobromyl District Hospital of the Dobromyl City Council; ENT Center “Pidkaminsky Psychoneurological Boarding School”; ENT Center “Pidbuz Geriatric Boarding House”.

As a result, they plan to renovate 29 institutions, which will ensure the creation of additional 3,359 places for IDPs to live.
The total volume of funding from the regional budget is UAH 199.5 million, of which UAH 17.5 million is the assistance of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship of the Republic of Poland, UAH 9.1 million is a subvention to the regional budget from the budgets of the Stryi and Chervonohrad city, Medenytsk and Ivano-Frankivsk settlement communities .
Repair works in 8 dormitories have already been completed and 767 places for IDPs have been provided.
About 2,000 additional places are expected at the beginning of November, the rest of the projects will be implemented by the end of the year.
