Employees of the Department of Transport and Communications of the Lviv Regional State Administration checked the recreation base of the Lviv Country Club “Yavoriv Reservoir” regarding the operation of small vessels.
Representatives of the working group on the safety of navigation on inland water bodies of public use in the Lviv region were involved in the inspection, namely employees of the Podilsk-Carpathian interregional administration of the State Service of Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine.
Conducted preventive and explanatory work with the managers of the bases of small-sized vessels regarding the prevention of accidents with small-sized vessels, the rights and obligations of the managers of the bases and persons responsible for the navigation safety management system, and also proved the cases of emergency events with water transport and their causes.
It should be noted that subordinate legal acts are currently pending, which regulate the procedure for issuing permits for the inspection and opening of bases for the parking of small vessels and bases for the parking of sports vessels in order to ensure the proper implementation of Clause 7 of Article 5 of the Law of Ukraine “On Inland Water Transport” .
